Champion murray!!

Nice trading going out here:

I was watching the first set of the match, and how the odds will give a very good chance in the second set. We used the strategy of backing the favourite on difficult situations, backed him at 2.72, wait for the break, and get advantage in the score, 4-2 dropping the odds to 1.7-1.6, selling and making a 95% profit.

Today tip

Murray just lost his first set, back him at 2.72 with a nice stake, and close when he breaks or puts some trouble... we are looking the odds to drop to 2 approx.

Awesome results

New strategy turns out to deliver:

Let check out again what I did. I layed roger federer agressively with a big stake at 1.08, having a 7k benefit, and only 560€ risk. That means that in ticks increasing very little, profit is huge, as you can see, I backed him later at 1.12, as tie break was nearer, and stepanek had a 15-30 on federer's serve, having a 360€ profit,60% profit over original risk which will be splitted in half if stepanek has any chance to win roger, which is very unlikely. If you first looked at this odds to trade the match, you will think what a rubbish odds to trade, and probably don't think about the issue that low odds means low risk when laying and huge profits, so you enter a equal stake with a bigger profit, get gold from rubbish. Also stepanek has just been broken, and I'll say is even better to lay federer now because odds are at 1.04, which mean much lower risk, meaning bigger profit and ticks are very likely to increase from 1.04 if stepanek just scores some points on next game or put some trouble on federer on 2nd set.

New trading strategy

On Federer's match we will try to do a different strategy. Federer is clearly the favourite on this match, and odds suggest such thing. We will lay federer at 1.08, a very strong lay, risking much less than what you can win. This is a very agressive trading, and we will have to go out when little ticks go up, hoping stepanek scores some points in federer's game. We layed at 1.08, and hopefully close trade at 1.1 - 1.12.

Sadly llodra won

It looked like nole could make it and turn around the match, so my tip was to back llodra, but llodra was stronger that expected and ended winning the match.

1st tip succes =)

What a trade:

This is good value trading guys! We perfectly readed overpriced wawrinka, and expected by statistics that if soderling did not win this set, he will win the second, he breaked wawrinka, drawing the set 5-5, and droping the odds from 2.6 to 1.6! what a nice lot of ticks we picked up here

Today's tips 11/11/2010

Back Robin Soderling at 2.56, now he is loosing the set, and sell when it drops to 1.7 at least. Even if wawrinka wins first set, be patient, in my opinion, wawrinka has no chance, and we will get a nice profit.

Back Novak Djokovic at 1.6 now he lost the set, he hopefully should take the second set, odds will drop around 30 ticks, and you will get nice profit.

Delivering on opportunity trading

Nice profit, on a nice strategy:

Belluci took the first set, but it was very close on tie, so 1st set was very tied up. I decided to continue watching the 2nd set, and saw phillip Kohlschreiber very strong, so and putting belluci into trouble, So I predicted he will take the second set. At that time, odds were at 2.02 for Kohlschreiber, I backed him, and when he took the first set and put into trouble Belluci, I layed him at 1.41, closing the trade, and making a very nice profit.

Being to greedy is bad

Being to greedy is to bad, I could have perfectly close the trade at 1.4, making 50€ profit, but I decided to scratch, and it ended badly, in loss. Either way, strategy was good, if I had gone out when I had the chance.

Mahut - Gasquet tip

Lay Gasquet at 1.29

Hope Mahut get's near a break or a tie break, about 20 ticks and close the trade.

How to make a nice profit in 25 min

The answer is very easy if you followed my tip below:

In order to perform this trade you needed to be quick. I backed de bakker at 1.77, and decided to wait even he was breaken. Then he won a break back, and had two break points dropping the odds to 1.37, moment I decided to close my trading, and make a nice profit. More than 45% of initial risk, nice isn't it?

Granollers - Ferrer Trade

3/3 So far:

Ferrer lay was very low , so I decided to lay him at 1.21, as I was sure that Granollers will put some trouble on to ferrer. And I was right, odds varied during the match, and twice went over 1.3, so I had 10 ticks and I went out, closing my trade by backing ferrer at 1.3, Results... you can see them upwards ;)

Federer - Djokovic Trading

Second green of the day:

I followed my strategy on the first set and it was a exact read of the match. I backed djokovic, and as the tie break was near, odds started to tight up, so I closed the trade at 2.3, laying djokovic, and making a nice profit. Let's see what happen on following matches and if we can end the day green.

Troicki - Djokovic Trade

What a first set to trade!!!

This first set was the perfect market to trade in, with lots of movement in the market. I decided to back troicki at 4.5, and I mantained him an layed him later at 3.5. I could have stayed and make much more profit, althought it was very risky so I decided to close the trade, as I made a nice profit. I'm looking for more opportunities on this second set to equalise the profit or make some more. Applying good strategies, you can see how trading can be easy.

Dream Big

Djokovic's Trade

Today's djokovic-haase trade was lost, but I managed to loose only 20% of the stake as I closed it before loosing everything. That's the way it's meant to be played ;)

Thursday 4 November 2010

Strategy for Tomorrow

Lay djokovic 1.16 and back him at 1.19

Monfils - Wawrinka Trade

This match was at first a clear equalizer of odds, having very similar odds, 2 for monfils and 1.98 wawrinka. I thought monfils had good chance, so i followed the following strategy:

I backed monfils at 1.98 at the begginning of the match. Odds rised up to 2.25 when monfils had disadvantage on the score, but I decided to go on as I was not meeting the maximum profit requirement exit.

Then monfils broke Wawrinka, and won his game, lowering the odds from 1.98 to 1.25, that's when I layed monfils at 1.25 making a very good profit balance, a 60%!!

Remember trading is about experience, tecqniques and most important, allways remember you trade for a cause, and a quick retirement is a victory.
Otherwise you're gambling.

Tips and advice when trading

When you're trading, there are decisions and some techniques you must take into account, in order to make good trades. Here I do a summary of some I take into account:

1- Do not enter a market with more money than you are willing to loose. Trading is not betting, but you can loose money.

2- Don't act by emotions. I know loosing money it's tough, but is better loosing 10% of it than 100% of it, so if you've loosed about 25% of it get out of the market, otherwise you'll loose it all.

3- Never ever get into a market you don't know

4- Only trade with players you know. Study each day before the matches the statistics, players and how the market is moving on that particular match.

5- Trading on tennis is about andvantaging opportunities. Opportunities on tennis occur on break points, breaks, games, set points and winning the set.

This are some of techniques to consider when trading on tennis, but there are much more, so if you want to learn how to trade well,

Quote of the day

"You're neither right nor wrong because other people agree with you. You're right because your facts are right and your reasoning is right—and that's the only thing that makes you right. And if your facts and reasoning are right, you don't have to worry about anybody else." Warren Buffet

That's is about tennis trading. If you know very good a market, and know how is moving and you think your predictions are right, do not worry about anybody else, as a matter of fact you will end regretting.

Very nice movement of market here, and very good opportunity to make money, you can see how quickly you could had made a green as graph moved smoothly stepward.

Strategy followed was to lay portland at 1.5, and I backed him later at 6, implying no risk and making automatically a green. See how easy it is to make good trades without risk ;)
